I just watched a couple of tutorial videos. Very nice program, hope to try it out soon. I watched the one where they sliced a man model into I think 8 sections. If the idea is to cut out all of the parts then glue/attach together it would be nice to have some sort of alignment holes. Something where you can insert pins/dowels into each part and the next would register off of that. Have you seen where this is possible? I cannot imagine cutting a wodden 3D part in multiple sections then getting it to line up correctly while the glue dries.

Dwayne, the outer perimeter of the slice will align with the next one cut and so on...
or like you said use a alignment pin which the could be referenced from your home positioned, but each slice cut would have to be mounted in the exact same position. which could be done by pinning the work piece to your spoiboard

Might help to add tabs to each slice,in the same place.Once all your pieces are cut out you could clamp them at one or two tabs and drill some holes in the other tabs, put in a small pin of whatever material and drill the same size holes in the other tabs after puting in your locating pin and then you have locates for all your slices when time to glue up .Just a thaught, cheers.
