    Default Vcarve Mach3 tool change

    Hi

Is it possible to get manual tool change working on mach3 when exporting vcarve code?

I have saved my code to the correct processor and when i start my cycle it first pauses and asks me to load in the correct tool and then starts fine. But when it getss to my vcarve bit it skips the tool change.

You need to use an ATC post in V Carve Pro.

Were you using different tool numbers when you setup the selected tools in VCPro?

    What Gary said.

It was hard to see, but I didn't see an M6 in your code after the initial one.

is this the line of code i need for tool change? I assumed that varve would add this in when i select a different tool.

When you select, or edit your tools in V Carve, you need to assign unique numbers to them, or the g-code will not contain the M6 tool change commands.

It will, provided the tool have different numbers. If they all have the same number, it will not add a tool change command.
