yes it is you have a lot of good stuff in V carve pro 8.5. have a look at the 8.5 vids http://support.vectric.com/tutorials...goryIndex.html
Hey everyone,
I have been using vectric vcarve desktop for a while now and find that I am limited to quite a few things. 2 are very important which is why I am considering the upgrade.
1. i am limited to cut size of 600 x 600 and my machine can handle 1000 x 800
2. the only 3d you can do in desktop is by adding 3d images in.
What I would like to know from users of vcarve pro is, is it worth the upgrade or should I rather just keep the desktop version and use another program. I know in the long run I would love to have aspire as you can make your own 3d contours (can this be done with vcarve pro) but to be honest the money for aspire is way out of my league.
What are peoples thought?
Thanks
Macca
