Offset the perimeter vector outward by about 1/8"-1/4".
Then draw your "Scallops" as a single closed vector, drawing just the inside edge. Then v carve between the two vectors.
I am trying to find an easy way to draw a scalloped border for a wood sign similar to the attached pic.
Should I maybe draw it as a slalomed "S" line around the sign so the z axis stays constant as the x an y axis' go in and out or should I maybe draw it like small football shapes centered around the border so the x and y axis' go straight and the z axis goes up and down? Is there another BETTER way I haven't thought of? I'm looking for the best and fastest way to do this with the lowest possibility of chipping the wood. I will be using Cedar.
Thank you in advance, Jeff
