Opinions on software for Cosplay

I'm looking for any thoughts or idea's on a choice of software to help make Cosplay armor. What I need is a program that can help me generate a 3D model from 2D drawings'. What we're gonna do then is import the 3D object into a CNC router which will "cut out" a positive mold. This is then used with a vacuu form machine to make the armor.

I'm looking for honest opinions' and or help. Thanks in advance.

There are no programs that will generate shapes from 2d to 3d.
You need to construct he surfaces yourself. Look at the 3d programs such as Rhino or that sort of Stuff. Catia V5 is cool if you have access to it.
Mastercam might do it, but Im not sure. Whatever you do , make sure the program will post to your machine controller of choiice..
