    Chemical wood ?

    Hello everyone,
Has anyone ever used chemical wood to machine their molds for vacum forming?

What do you mean by "chemical wood". Are you referring to urethane tooling board?

RAKU-TOOLŪ or something that can work better than MDF board.

We have used REN-Shape 440 & 5169, both with great success. The 5169 will offer a better finish and last longer. For extremely short runs, we have even used an open cell 20lb urethane foam.
