You should be able to find a local plastic distributor.
Just make sure to specify thermofoming grade.

I hear though that ABS plastic is quite brittle, in comparison to other materials? I have been using Plasticard (Styrene), excellent material and strong.
ABS is a great vacuum form plastic. It bonds to itself and is great for making figurines and other little projects.
