What Vacs are people using

Hi Guys just wondering what vacuum cleaners people are using with there vacuum formers and how well they work?
Iam looking at getting a Vax 1400w Commercial cleaner that is rated at 270 for the airflow, not sure how much cfm and litres per second that is. As this vac is nearly $300 I dont want to get it and find out it doesnt do the job.
