I believe that the board in the lower right is a breakout board, which would plug into the UC400.

I might just get the UC100, although now I'd rather have ethernet. After seeing this, do you have any suggestions? Thank you everyone
As Gerry said, the ribbon cable which comes with the UC400 can be plugged in directly to that BOB on the bottom right. It has a DB25 connector, so it is pretty simple. Your "electronic box" (I am not laughing) has a lot of space and is made out of user friendly material (meaning MDF or something similar), so you could just fix the UC400 beside the BOB with four screws. All you need is a power supply connection. I don't know if the UC400 requires 5, 12 or 24 volt, but that's easily fixed, even if you have to use a phone charger or something similar.

Never the less, if you want to continue using Mach3 you can just get their controller and use the free plugin for Mach3.

In any case, Ethernet is more reliable than USB, regardless which motion controller you are buying. Whatever you do, you should watch out for the eBay fake controllers.

I just ordered my UC400 and I'm so freak'n excited! Thank you so much for the tips and hanging in there with me until I got it through my head what you guys were talking about. Anyway, I also want to brag about the CNC Drive tech support. I wanted to make sure I was getting the real deal and had some questions and they were SO FANTASTIC! I got a nice long email back that had all the info I needed and more. I feel very confident they will be very supportive of their products and customer service. I'm going to download the UCCNC software too - I just wanted to give you and the rest of the guys another THANK YOU and I'll let you know how everything works out. Have a great day!
