Need 18" OD plastic pipe squared up near Austin

I got a large chunk (about 4' long) of C-905 plastic drain pipe from the guys putting it in the ground. I would like it cut into 2 pieces, nice and smooth on each end. They need to be smooth so they'll make an airtight seal for a vacuum chamber. A little too much to ask of my Sawzall. Doesn't need to be CNC, just a big lathe.

This pipe is heavy, so it's not really cost effective to mail it.

    Thanks, Lee

Hi, what vacuum quality are you targeting ? Plastic pipe is pretty porous to air flow, and it will likely outgas for years.

    - vacuum levels like 0.1 atm, it might work.
    - If the goal is 0.01 atm, it will take one heck of a pump to keep up
    - Below 0.001 atm is unlikely with plastic pipe, unless it is specially made for the task.

29 inHg for degassing RTV silicone used for mold making. The pipe has almost 1" thick walls.
