    V12 engine block/crank

I have been working with an engineer to design a V12 using components from two I6 engines. We are now looking to get an idea of what it will cost to have the crank and aluminum block machined. The crank will require 13 journals total. I will supply the material and I can draw the parts with MC9 solids and allow you to program it to your preference. Thanks!

Are you planning to manufacture several of these engines? The reason I ask is if castings are going to be involved for the block I would be interested in machining the foundry tooling.

We will make several engines if it performs as expected. The block needs to be billet instead of casting it due to the high cylinder pressures from turbo charging. Building tooling to have them cast from steel may be an option though. Any idea of what tooling would cost me?

Hello this project sounds very complex but I do know the right people to build all of this and of the highest quality. Do you currently have the parts complete in a 3D cad file? Please contact me for further discussion.

No, I don't have the block completly drawn. The estimates for machining the block are beyond my price range... I had given up on the project at $15k-$18k per block.
