Restore engraving on manual Sherline rotary table

I packed up my Sherline tools when I left the country for a year. When I got back, some of the tools had rusted. I tried cleaning up the rotary table with steel wool, but the markings were very shallow laser engraving, and almost disappeared. Would like to have it done a little deeper. Hoping the cost is less than just replacing the whole thing, obviously.
