Default RFQ - Very simple design - plasma/laser

    dxf file attached

I'm looking for a quote to make these. 200-400/month.

    Material: Steel
    Thickness: 1/8"

The hole size doesn't really matter, they're just there as starter holes so I can drill them manually later. One or two with the holes will be enough as a drilling template.

I've been having a very hard time getting a quote for this. Please don't hesitate to tell me if I'm missing some info..

Yes, it's there so someone can quickly see that it's nothing more than a triangle.

    Is the dxf file enough?

    Hi,dear Mr.Vanlacke.For this thick steel.You have 3 choice.Kindly choose as you need
1.Fiber laser. For this thick steel,it is the best quality of cut(or engrave). But it is very expensive.Usually need about 100,000USD for 500w fiber laser.
2.YAG,it is another kind laser machine, but quality is not very good, even bad.Usually need 500,00USD for YAG machine.
3.Plasma,it is an economic way for metal cut.The cut quality is not bad, only at the start point and end point,it is a little flaw.Usually need about 10,000USD for 63A Plasma.
If u want the machine quote,or any question, just contact me.

Would 11g steel be okay for this application? Says its 1/8" but in my experience it's generally .010" smaller or larger.

You're looking at about a 20 second cycle time per piece on a turret punch plus a couple of minutes each to knock off the tabs and package. I haven't nested these yet to figure the material requirements and cost, but labor should run about $2-$3 each plus a $200 setup given the small quantities required per month.

Edit: And as previously pointed out, you're looking at 10ga or 11ga which will be just over or just under 1/8".

We can water-jet these, de-burred including materials minus shipping for $5.35each. the 5 holes can be any size you want, but this is for 3/16" holes. we would require half in advance and half upon completion.

These would be less than $2.50 each plasma cut, lower based on decent quantities. PM me for more details and a quote from a good supplier of plasma cut parts.

Are you still purchasing these monthly and are you accepting any new quotes?
