Default newbie CNC piranha: can I take it apart to fit in my luggage?

Serious question. Can I take apart a CNC Piranha router so I can put it in checked luggage? At least check the flat part? It's a gift for someone in Mexico but it's huge and super heavy. Please understand I have absolutely no clue.

One of these:CNC Piranha Fx ? It seems to be small enough, and it comes with "some assembly required", so you might be able to pack it up the way it comes. If not, it seems like it would come apart pretty easily. You don't have to get it into a suitcase; you'll usually see a lot of cardboard boxes when you're standing in line for a Mexico flight, since many people bring appliances etc. home with them from the US. The airlines will probably charge extra, but they do that for everything nowadays.

Thank you for your reply. I've been looking at it for a while, and it looks like I could take it apart. I'm thinking between me and my companion, we could each take half in carry on, maybe. Just need the confidence to try it. It's just the wrong size for carry on as it is, and just a hair too heavy for checking in one bag.
