    Default Oilchange in gearbox ?

I have recently bought a simple chinese lathe called " HBM LATHE-WM250 Variomatic" , the operators manual tells me to change the gearbox oil and recomends " Mobilgear 627 ".

Mobilgear 627 is very hard to buy here in Sweden so i wonder if it is possible to use something else ?

I was thinking of using "Mobil 1 ESP Formula 5W-30" or "Mobil Mobilube GX SAE 80W-90" , or maybe something else ?

My lathe is found at : http://www.cnc-steuerung.com/katalog...schine-87.html

Greatful for any kind of help.

You might try the latest automatic transmission fluid such as GM's Dextron VI
