How is the Z-Axis way cover on a Haas (or similar) VMC built-up?
See link.
How is this cover built-up?
Are there scissor arms behind there like on telescopic covers or is it something else holding the different sections together?
How is the cover "guided" when moving up and down?

Lets see if i can word this in a way that makes sense.... So the covers are kept together buy some sort of elastic, and it is guided behind the cover by a grove that contacts the bar that is bolted to the Z axis. In my opinion the worst Z axis cover in the CNC industry. The old slide style was much better but this must be cheaper.
