Default Which CAM for Solid works

    Hello,
maybe someone can share your experience with CAM software for Solid works? I need CAM for 5 axis CNC, which works inside Solidworks. Solid CAM, as the manufacturer say: "SolidCAM+SOLIDWORKS provide the best available integrated CAD/CAM software: Runs directly inside SOLIDWORKS". What do you think?

Another alternative would be VisualCAD-CAM Mill for Solidworks (Premium, for 5 axes). It runs inside the Solidworks workspace as well, and costs less.

Have you looked at HSMworks? It runs inside Solidworks. We use HSMXpress which is the free 2.5 axis version, and it runs great inside Solidworks. There is a 30 day demo for HSMWorks as well so you can try before you buy.

Take a look at Mastercam. It runs inside of solidworks. When you purchase a license, you can run both, the stand alone or the solidworks integrated cam. You cannot beat the support, and you will need it in the 5 axis world.
