Looks like the wrong IJ mode.
I'm sure it's something simple and obvious but I can not work it out. So I have a cnc plasma and use fastcam to produce the code for the machine. I download a file and open it in fastcam, it opens fine and looks as if should (see photo). I then try click the output NC code, then I get this horrible big mess of lines (see second photo). I've tried turning the kurf adjustment completely off and turning the lead in off completely also. I also tried the cadclean and cadcompress with no success either.
Any help would be much appreciated and thank you in advance.

In your picture due to the complexities of the curves FastCAM cannot give you a precise route path, you need to trace it on a 3D environment (ex. autoCAD) to simplify the vectors, then it`s either you can create a custom route path or try load it again in fastCAM, on my side even on our CNC plasma I use a custom CAM, meaning I'm the one drawing the lead in`s and lead out`s, I also used fastCAM but for the simple shapes only.
So is it due to fastcam being on the simpler end of the cam programs? Is there a program that will auto tool path a complex drawing such as the one I showed above or will it require manually drawing the tool path.

ger21 is right, it is the wrong IJ mode, it is how arcs are interpreted by your control. That is usualy an easy fix but I don't know how in fastcam
I agree Ger21 is correct, you need to change the IJ mode to incremental it is current set at absolute. Change that in your setup and it will make all those huge loops disappear.
