After I was struggling few times with finding information how long should my tools been out of holders, I decided to write script which will give me this, directly from my cnc programs.
I think it's very useful if you are using programs which you made before, because you probably don't remember everything.
Also, I think it is a time saver, and will be part of my new "error free" project, because it should help you avoiding crashes. This give you what you need without opening your part and getting deeply in your operations.
It works perfectly for HAAS 3-axis milling machines and other whose comments are written as '('...')'. If your machines has different approach with comments, get me at bojanvidaic@hotmail.com and I will resolve that problem. Also, every feedback is appreciated.
concept: it goes through all 'Z...' instances, and gets you the lowest. (your highest Z should be 0)
