I had the Worknc people in this week to see what their 5-axis capabilities will be in version 16 due out in Jan/Feb. After the demo, I was certain that it is time to drop Worknc and go to PowerMill. The capabilities of 5-axis programming in PowerMill are light years ahead of Worknc's 5-axis offerings.

    You will not be sorry.
Feel free to post your questions. Looks like there is alot of PowerMill skills here.
    Who is your VAR?(Delacam dealer)

    Nothing wrong with being biased.
I say " Pick your horse and run with it! "
It is painful to try to run many systems.

    Hi Bill,

Our Delcam VAR is the Delcam North American office right here in Windsor Ontario. The people I am dealing with are right from the UK. (The clocks on their laptops still reflect the time zone in the UK )

There is one thing that seemed different about Delcam, than the 'other big players'. They actually seem to listen to their end users, and software updates/features reflected this. They really are a joy to work with.

    Ps.
This is not too cheap with Powermill either , €1000+ a year
Per 1/2 year would have been correct

    Thanks Osmo,

The order was placed this morning. We ordered some new hot-rod computers to run it, so I've co-ordinated the arrival of the software with the arrival of the computers.

    Looking forward to it!

    Happy holidays,

    Dan
