Red face helloWorld. BIESSE ROVER A 5Axis - some "3D" questions

    Hello All .
    I'm super new here.

My new rover A 5 axis machine is HERE and besides cabinets -
I would like to insert some 3D g Code based files (from vectric or deskproto).

Any one has any experience with inserting g Code from these programs Into A a fairly new Biesse machine ?

my Tech support is less then fine ! I have no Idea how configure the program and how to insert the code .

The last thing I need is to damage the machine.
I would love someone with a Biesse machine send me the deskproto post processor ".PPR" file .

    Waiting for your answers.
    Have a nice day .
Inigo Montoya ( you killed my ...yada yada yada )

Well in my company we work in a biesse rover c9 5axis and we our boss bought Alphacam from Vectric and it didn`t work very well we have very problems with post processor and the program wasn`t parametric and the

my boss is now loking for other solutions and about november of 2013 biesse has developed BSOLID is a 3d CAD/CAM which work very well in the machine but have many issues
The program has a very limited extensions to import solids (DXF,IGES and images only) and don`t work very well
The parametric is more focus in 2d for 3d is very dificult to make parametric

    see here the software

If you want to make 3d pieces in parametric the best i know but i don`t test it in the machine is getting a powerful and parametric cad (SOLIDWORKS or INVENTOR) and get a partner solution in cam for these softwares for what i read SOLIDWORKS with MASTERCAM or SOLIDWORKS with CAMWORKS is the best but is expensive

    Hello
I worked with several biesse programs BiesseWorks and bsolid, if you need help about 3d conception, i can help you.
For me my suggestion is to works with TopSolid, TopSolid is simple to works with, after that you can get DXF file of your cabinet also with TopSolid you can get 3d pdf for each cabinet and also you can do
Nesting and print the nesting for CNC Biesse machine Skill_Rovever, for the machinning your panel is simple to import DXF file from TopSolid to BiesseWork or bsolid.I try it, it works for every machine.
So if some one need help, do not hesitate to contact me or write to me.I have 3 years experience on cabinet conception with Topsolid, Biesse software.

helloWorld. BIESSE ROVER A 5Axis - some "3D" questions-refined-point-data-jpgGreig, PM me. This is not beginner CAD more to it than it seems. IT starts with digitizing the physical model. smoothing / Spline-ing the points.

HI Brian not sure how to pm you on here, And yes tha machine is begging for work. I'm from Tasmania and have no access to a digitiser so it looks like this might be the end of the road. We bought topsolid for 5axis machining with little luck as the trainer was not very good, and so far we have shelved it and almost given up.
