If you found it let me know Thx thomas
This one is not free $229 USD but it works well for converting line type drawings in PDF to DXF, Print To CAD: Home
I used it to convert several hundred pdf files to DXF. You may have to scale them to get correct dimensions but all in all it works well. Also a "free" trial is available

inkscape is free and import pdf files.. you can export to dxf or eps..
I use print to cad and have had very good success ,but I prefer to use john walsh's drawing board to just copy pdf's or diagrams right straight to dxf files
There is a spot here on the zone covering logic trace software uses
sure it could work right.. they asking 230 dollar for..
and convert just same like inkscape..
I think for 230 dollar they should give a little bitty more than simply converting curves..
little different inkscape is a fully working graphic program.. and conversion only one function beside hundred of others...
original posters was asking for free program..
is there a free version of the print2cad?
A pdf can contain a lot of disparate data. One of the main entities that it can contain is "vector data", which IS drawing data (Like that done in Corel, Illustrator or inkscape).....
If you have BobArt in your package, It can import vector data from pdf's.....
If you don't do it a lot, you can use something like this too...
https://cloudconvert.com/
This will do a few free ones a month for you...
Again, a pdf can just be a "bitmap" too, which is nothing to convert to dxf....
