Nice video John, 2010 should be an exciting time for you guys. It’s a small world. I’ve been busy with my ebikes and had created some boards to connect to the Dewalt battery packs. One of your fellow countrymen is working on providing transportation for the patrol officers on electric bikes and is evaluating my boards to see if it’s a viable alternative. Daniel Borden is his name. Nice to know I contributed a little to your Olympics. Thread on the boards I made

The CNC's have been really useful for my ebike projects.

That's pretty cool. Interesting use of Dewalt batteries.

Uli used the Maxim chip for the negative supply on the op amp. A better approach would be an actual power supply circuit to provide the negative 12volts. Much more stable. Increasing the capacitors will allow the charge pumps to maintain a better voltage level.

Thank you, I will try with your advice and let you know the result.

John, Sorry for the puppy. I also got the puppy but now not a puppy anymore. http://www.thaifila.com/Dynamite.html

Are both power supply grounds tied together?

A common ground should work fine as long as the voltages are there. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I tried to return your pm but your box is full. Let me know if you have specific questions. I'm getting ready to fire up a new router using the old smartbaga uhu drivers. Wish me luck.
