Hi Ben,
Again, simply skip the circuit around the MAX6303. If you want the chargepump function then build a circuit around a 4538 or any other retriggerable monostable. It's not a replacement chip for the 6303 but it will work the same way.

If you can get 74HCT245 it will probaly work, if not try 74HC245. If 74LS245 is all you can source then by all means try that!

The74HC244 is not 'the same' IC as the '245 but will work if you change the circuit to match.

You can use the BC547 instead of the 2N2222 - no problems there.

who can tell me about those BOB's trere are two 4,5 axys DIY boards and more ..[all free of hard to find pieces}they are compatible with UHU? you recomand me ???

I have pieces for bob, but only max i founded was smd one in england,works in place of normal max?[i refer to power function , i know is another soldering mode,is the same number max 6303}

BEN U don't need the 6303 immediately - go ahead and assemble the rest. I use my router with some precautions without the charge pump.

again need help,
i have 2 breakboards,6 uhu controller ,50% pieces for router,money for other 50%,but motors must find cheap some.
my controllers are with irfp260n..who can tell me range of motors can handle...i found some big 14volts- 16amps,14 volts-30amps something about 100+ volts and 3-6 amps, and another litle 30v ,48 volts,27 volts.What power ,combination volt-amps can handle UHU??[i want something like200volts--xxamps to xxamps-xx volts]I refer of course at continuous work.

And somebody can tell me how to allign my 2500x1500 guiding lines on router suport table?[linear micrometer?? some experienced tips?? ideas? how can i be sure they are very straight??
btw..for 2500x1500 router what power i need for each axes??

At least the original UHU boards that I tested did not handle those Mosfets well. Perhaps the PCBs from Uli have higher noise immunity. I would like to see the results of your tests.
