    ENCODER AMT102 PROBLEM

i have the old UHU boards that were working good with my dc motors+optical encoders. But today I removed the optical encoders and put a new AMT102(set with 500ppr), then i switched on my machine and tried to move one motor axis to check if the motor try to keep its position and in found that in the clockwise direction the motor works good (donīt let me turn the axis) but when i turned in the opposite direction the motor began to run without control. Then I swap chA and chB, and happen exactly the same but in the oppsite directions: in counterclockwise works good (mantein its position) but in clockwise run without control.
The encoder cables (5V,chA,chB,0V) are properly connected to the UHU board and the index pulse is not connected (it is free).
Anyone know what is happen? is neccesary to change in the old UHU board some components to work with the AMT102?

With a single ended output, it sounds like you have one channel and the marker connected instead of A & B?
