I'm cutting a series of sheet body parts created in solidworks. What i've been doing so far with mixed results is importing the model dis assembling it down to what i need to cut then mirroring the sheet bodies, creating the trimmed surface seen in the attachment. I use cavity mill to rough with no problems however when I use area mll to finish the surfaces i get weird random gouges on the part when i used z level on this particular part it came out good. i'm using cam general set up and setting it up as workpeice rather than mcs mill. can anybody help me with workflow or any pointers on what would be causing these problems? |
