Cant select surface for 4 axis Wire edm

For some reason it wont let me select the surface to do a 4 axis wire edm operation.
I tried to enlarge the surface but no luck. I attached the file. It is the triangle
looking surface I need to cut. I had to WAVE geometry linker to create the surface(becuase it is a tube), any problems there?
    Any ideas why??

I am using NX6 and NX4 and both versions same problem.

    Thanks

The Wire application is fickle about things being neat. (rectangular & parallel to the machine).
Your best bet is to create some lines surrounding the area to cut.

Then use the 4-Axis, Wireframe option in Open Profile,
and only select the bottom line. It will find the sides & top.
Select the end where you want the path to start.

Set the top & bottom plane in Cutting Parameters to define where
    the output points are generated.

    Hope that helps
