    part configuration

I am working with NX8, other then family tables.

Is there a way to do multiple configurations of a part file?

I am looking to create sequences of turning and milling cuts and only show the
features that are the sequence that would be illustrated and detailed. Like a picture book showing from raw stock to finish part.

    Thank You

Yes this can be done several ways and depends on how the model was built. If it was built in a manner that reflects the manufacturing process than you can create an assembly and link the body at a spicific time stamp to show the model at that point in the process. If like most models it was not built or designed in a sequintal manner than you may need to us the Synchronlus Modeling tools to modify the linked components. to show the manufacturing process.

    Part Configuration

I have used Reference Sets in the past but not to exclude features.
I am looking for the UG tool that does more like what the attached .png file
looks like. Base on the .png file what tool would be recommended?

    Thank You
