Your in Inches/MM per revolution. So, 50.mm per turn of the spindle. had the same problem running metric taps on Mastercam. Change your feedrate to match, or switch to G94.
Hi My name is Stu and I am from NZ
I am programming on NX8 and machining on a Mori Seiki NV5000
I am trying to do some rigid tapping and after programming and posting all I get on the machine is the spindle doing 1 rev and pitching 10mm
Can any one help?

thanks for that.
that is interesting as I set the feed rate in the CAM prog as 0.8mm per rev not 50mm/rev.
I will give it another try and report back.
