You can generate tool paths in the background to take advantage of multiple CPUs
NX CAM is not a multi-threaded application
Hallo,
I wonder if it's possible to change some settings of NX in order it would use the computer full RAM/CPU power instead of only about 20% during calculation of tool paths etc.
Is this possible or is there another limiting factor?
Best regards,

NX CAM will use all of the available resources of the core it's running on.
For example, on my quad core machine, If I generate an operation it uses all of the core I am on, which shows as 25% in the task manager.
To use other cores, use Parallel Generate instead of Generate. For example, if I Parallel Generate 4 operations, I will see 4 processes in the task manager processes tab, each at 25%. On the Performance tab, CPU usage is at 100%.
If you are not seeing this, then you may have another bottleneck.
