Hi there. I design parts in SE, then create the blank stock in SE, and combine them as an assembly in SE. Once this is done, I open the SE assemby in NX and start manufacturing. (Been using SE for a while and am more used to it for CAD than NX...). If I make a change to the basic part in SE, the SE assembly will update from the base part. I'm sure SE and NX will talk to one another, but I think I'm just getting dopey in my old age because I can't get the change to the SE assy to flow through to the NX assy to be able to manufacture based on the new change...Can someone explain the process of linking NX parts/assemblies to their SE originals please? Thanks for your help, Kind regards, Tre. |

| If you reopen the .asm file in NX, it should update the _asm.prt file. A manual option is to right click on the part in the NX assembly navigator, go to properties, interoperability, and update from file or respecify file.
