Demo version of UG NX ?

Does anyone know of a "demo" version that's available for UG NX ? I do the "hard end" of machining, and our programming department has had UG for about a year now and we have huge frustrating gaps between the two departments as far as usable and efficient programs. I would like to try and learn some basics of UG for myself at home...

You may be able to get a demo version from you local Siemens rep for a short period. With a price tag of $25,000 per license it is not for home use.

You may also be able to attend a seminar and get a free trial from your local reseller.

You can purchase a student edition at a minimal cost, but it does not include CAM.

BTW don't let the cost scare you off - pricing starts at well below 10k, depending on what modules you need.

Good news for me. one of the programmers from my work gave me the original "student pak" manualls and CD ! So looks like I can get started on some basics at my own pace at home in the evenings.

Problem is with UG training at my work on the full system, is we have two programmers, and two UG NX "floating" licenses only, so I can't use the software at work unless one of the programmers is logged off.
