No.
Did you create a new profile? If you changed the screenset name in your profile, you may have a spelling error or other typo?
Just tried to install version 1.2047 and run it in demo mode and got this error. Anyone else got this problem?

Nope all I did was click the setup_1.2047.exe file, Next, accept the agreement, default location (C:\UCCNC).
I took the X out of Overwrite the default UCCNC profile and macros (recommended) just in case it overwrote my existing config accidently.
and installed. OK and finish. Choose a demo device and continue when the message came up.
Just went through the installation again putting a X in the Overwrite the default UCCNC profile and macros (recommended) and no error came up.
Would seem that is not very "optional" if it won't allow the program to start.

I haven't heard of this happening to anyone else, and without seeing your original profile, can't tell you what the problem was.
I highly recommend creating a new profile to use, and NOT using the default profile. That way you never have to worry about any of your settings being overwritten during updates.
