Normally, S1 and SC would go to a normally open relay, with an output pin activating the relay.
The HDBB2 Breakout board is very good for attaching all the inputs and outputs for my machine but I am having trouble understanding how to control a vfd speed using it.
How is the best way to control a VFD with an analog signal as the breakout board gives 0-5v and the vfd's require 0-10v.
Is there another board required to do this or is it possible to control the vfd using a digital pwm and if so would any of the pins on the breakout board be able to do this.
I have a Yaskawa V1000 and trying to connect it to a Uccnc HDBB2
I have attached the wiring diagram below, If anyone has any experience and would be able to suggest the correct way to wire this together.

So If I use a 12v din relay (NO) I can connect the relay output and simply use it as an unpowered switch for the vfd, which I can see would work. I was just hoping there would be a less messy way of doing it. I'm not interested in using s2 for reverse, so that would work fine.
The speed output for the vfd is either looking for a 0-10v input or can I use the rp (pulse train) from the breakout board directly rather than the analog route as the uccnc hdbb2 breakout board only has a 0-5v analog signal.
Not always necessary those inputs are sourcing so any sinking output can do it directly with no relay such as G540 etc http://www.cnczone.com/forums/spindl...equipment.html
If coming from a Printer port a 2n7000 will also do it.
