    Default Calibration?

    Hello all

I have chinese 4030 machine, in general it seems ok. I bought a uc100 and am using uccnc.

I've set everything up and can control all axis and the spindle fine. However, Ive tried to cut a long slot in my wasteboard to fit a jig and each pass is starting about 1 - 2mm further along than the previous pass. So the slot is longer than I wanted by the end with a set of steps at the start. I set up the cut with vcarve, using a pocket toolpath, set to raster and conventional cut direction.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    thanks

    Dan

If your g-code does not indicate that the passes are offset then the stepper motor on the axis which shows the offsets loosing steps.
From your description the offsets happen between the passes when there is probably at least one rapid movement I would say that the issue is probably a too high velocity setup on that axis.
