Reset Error
Now that I've got my software running properly, I've stumbled another issue. When the software boots up it the reset button is flashing and I get a message that a limit switch is triggered or an e stop has been pressed. The thing is I've checked my proximity sensors, they all are working properly and none are trigged when this error comes up. I don't have an E stop set up yet either, I've even removed the pin I've assigned it to in the software until everything is running. When I look at the diagnostics page it indicates that a hard limit has been triggered, although I'm not sure how. I've tried setting the limits as active high and low but that doesn't help. I can see the virtual LEDs turning on or off when I manually trigger a limit switch, so I assume that everything else is working properly.
Has anyone dealt with this before or have any ideas of what else I should test to troubleshoot this?

change your X limit +, Y limit +, C limit +, X limit -, Z limit -, Z limit -, C limit - Active low settings, because it's clear that these are active now.

I get this message when I try to reset the machine
When I set the limits to active low, I can see that the LED's are off on the screen, but I get the same error.

Can you make a printscreen of the disgnostics page.
And by the way you are in demo mode.

Inputs that are correct with the UC300 running may be opposite in demo mode, which can cause the error.

Set your Estop port and pin to 0, Apply, and Save.
Your E-Stop setup is not working correctly. You may need to toggle the active low setting before setting the port and pin, because it won't let you when the estop input is triggered.

Ive already set the e stop pin and port to 0 but I don't think I tried setting it active low as well. I'll give that a shot and hopefully have some luck with it.

The message indicates that your limits or e-stop input is activated.
I suggest you check the diagnostics page and I'm sure if all the limits and e-stop LEDs are off then you can remove the Reset but first you will have to configure them properly to make all of them go off.

If you are not using axis A, B or C uncheck "Axis Enabled".I get this message when I try to reset the machine

I have two servos driving my x axis, so I have set up the A axis as a slave.

I've tried setting all of the limit switches to active low again, but that's not doing anything for me either. Here's a print screen

Set the port and pin numbers to 0 for all of your limits and estops.
At that point, you should be able to come out of estop.
Once you do, then start setting things up one at a time, making sure each one is working correctly.
Do NOT set anything up in demo mode. Make sure your UC300 is running, and connected.
Setting up UCCNC in demo mode can result in a lot of settings that are incorrect, and don't show up until the motion controller is connected.

So this problem has some how gone away on its own. While it's a relief that things are working now, it sucks that I don't really know what fixed it. I always try to understand a problem so I can learn for next time, but it seems like swearing at the computer and waiting a while paid off this time.

As I mentioned before, I suspect that you were seeing the difference between demo mode, and with the UC300 connected.

It would be great if that were the case, but I'm pretty sure I had resolved the issues with the license before this became a problem. I've been emailing back and forth with Balazs, and he's been extremely helpful working out kinks. An auto update of the firmware fixed my licensing problem I was having earlier, so maybe something in the background updated and worked itself out. Part of me thinks it may be because I'm using an old laptop with Vista, but whatever happened, it works. I've tried to replicate the problem on a separate computer that only has a demo of UCCNC installed and the reset always works. I'm pretty sure whatever caused that hard limit to trigger was what was giving me problems, and I don't know if that could be software alone.
Now that the machine is running, I have found that I can trigger the hard limit by jogging over an end stop, and I'll get the same error I was seeing earlier. At least this time I just need to override and jog back and everything resets fine. I've set soft limits but jogging seems to ignore them. There's still a bunch of fine tuning that I need to do for calibration so I'm optimistic all will work out in the end.
