My home speed is about 1" evry week !
Tried changing the settings in configuration for home speed but nothing happens.
Any ideas.

Yes loaded it up last night the command H (now alt H) dos'nt work in jog at all now !!
Can't change the screen to metric either, good upgrade eh!
xairflyer, I can't speak for TurboCNC as I don't have home switches on my machine, but I know at work the large CNC machines have a slow homing cycle. Normally, we only have to home the machine when its first turned on in the morning, after that its good for the day.
We either jog it around manually to close to the home switches, or we let it home itself and find other things to do while waiting. Read the worklist, go get materials, check tooling, etc.
I was told that the homing cycle is slow so the machine will read the switch accurately. I cannot confirm that statement however.
Can't change the screen to metric either, good upgrade eh!
Hi
You have to (ALT C) Nativ unit to imperial.
and (ALT s) Toggle working units.
I've just been playing with homing in V4.01 and I've been succesful in changing the homing speed so it does work.
Cheers
Dave
The new native command dos'nt change the screen readout or the amount machine moves it just changes your machine setup to either metric or imperial.
Yes the toggle comand in setup is what i discovered you have to do now.

The "feature" is now well know that the homing from the jog menu does not work.
Just got notice from Tony of the development team that due to personal problems, he will no be able to get to work on it until the end of next week.
