Hi, By me are the keys in Jog Mode not correct. Left/Right jogs axis is:Z and Up/Down jogs axis is:X...etc. Anyone know how to change the keys to: Left/Right jogs axis is:X, Up/Down jogs axis is:Y...etc. Thanks. |

| ata, It sounds like your are either not using a standard "usa" type keyboard, or you have setup your axis in a different configuration that normal. Anyhow, If you will go to about page 43 in the Turbocnc.doc file, there is a section to "map" the keys to a different configuration than you have. This involves making a new section in your ini file with the appropriate commands as noted in this section. Good luck. Bubba

| ata, Under the setup menu verify that Axis 1 is X, Axis 2 is Y, and Axis 3 is Z. If your setup is not per the above (recommended in documentation) one will have a situation that you have described. One planning to use Turbocnc should read the documentation before attempting to run their system. Otherwise, one will have some problems. Jerry |

| Machine Type: Allows be specification of the general type of CNC machine being controlled. This setting affects how TurboCNC interprets RS-274 D Code as follows: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ · Radius Lathe: The X axis (cross feed) is used as specified when processing a move. This default plane is set to G18 at startup. · Diameter lathe: The X axis (cross feed) is halved internally before processing a move. Earlier versions of TurboCNC had a cryptic way of setting this via an AxisPreScale parameter in the ini file. This default plane is set to G18 at startup. · Mill / Drill: This default plane is set to G17 at startup. · Custom: Has been defined for customers wishing to incorporate special setup procedures for their systems. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Machine type setting will definately make a difference in the operation of the Jog functions, as I have experienced the same problem. For a regular CNC machine make the setting: Machine Type = Mill / Drill Jerry |
