| Hello. I've built a cnc mill with 2 motors running on x axis. Here's the picture: http://www.wwracing.lv/galerija/gall...galds_vol2.jpg How can I configure the aditionam A axis so that it acts like x axis? I tried simplu to change the A axis name to X, the result was that in g code vhen I told the machine to go to x 100, both axis acted identicaly, but if I want to jog, there is only one motor running at the time. So, how can I get to run the A axis as an aditional X axis? Sorry about my bad english. Thank's! |

| Wire both drives to the X axis step and direction pins. Like you said, you can name them both X, but you won't be able to jog.

| I forgot to mention, that I am using the hobbycnc 4axis drive. In this case, should I wire the A axis to the X axis pins simply like this: http://www.bildez.lv/bildes/jetijs/v...1156431676.jpg ? |
