stepper movement

Hi guys,
can anyone help me to solve the below problem
1. my stepper motor moves to and fro by one step i.e, when i move in jog mode my stepper doesn't moves instead it moves 1 step forward and again backward with consicative pulse


can any one help me out to solve this problem
i am using a ANS microstep PLD driver capable of driving 1/16 microstep
and the stepper motor i am using is sanyo kenki 180 degree

You may have the connections wrong or one of the connections going to the motor may be loose.
