Question dry run's time estimate ?

I'm currently setting up my machine to engrave hardwood .
(Connecting xylotex 3 axis kit w/270 oz motors w/ relay board, turbocnc , and small milling 1hp.)

I am learning a little about turbocnc before milling. The user manual says that the estimate run time is close to actual run time.

Has anyone that uses this feature seen a big difference in the actual time vs the dry run time?

I have tried to increase the feed rate in the program but has no effect on the time estimate?

    thanks for any help?

Yes, I have used it and take what it says with a grain of salt! There have been estimates of many hours and in fact the actual run is minutes compared to what the dry run estimates.

Maybe Dave will be looking at that for the next release also, but don't count on it as he is working of other features that mean a lot more.
