I have a sample program written in notepad. Every thing is set to go . My problem now is importing files. I saved the file in notepad copied it to a floppy disk. I went to my machine and copied this to the Turbocnc folder on the c drive. I opened the file went to properties for the location of the file. I booted up in ms-dos to run Turbocnc when the screen came up I went to file and then run from file. Could not get it to open. I have read the docs but can't find a step by step instruction. I know it has to be a txt extension on the file name. Is file extension default or is it part of the ini file. Can someone help me? Mike Burts 305 Burts Garage Rd. | Can you not see the file? You can change the extension under Configuration>General Config. It's .cnc by default. You can also set the path where the files are. In notepad, you can save a file with a different extension by putting "" around it. In the filename box, just enter it like this "filename.cnc" If you don't put it in quotes, Notepad will add .txt to it.
