I retrofitted a Esab flame cutter that has servo motors and rack and pinion drives on each axis. The drives to run the motors are Rutex drives. Iam only using X&Y axis as Z for now is manual. Can someone give a suggestion? This and one more will make two. I am in a learning curve and any input will be appreciated. Mike Burts mikburts@juno.com Anderson SC |

| The drives are step direction and don't know or care what is on the other end! TCNC outputs step direction signals and the drives need that to run. You still need to know the various parameters needed such as steps per in(mm) etc, but beyond that it is all the same.
