Someone said to update printer and video drivers, which I did and still have the same problem,
Any Ideas?
I'm stumped....
Hey there...
I just thought I would see if anyone else has seen this problem, I had TurboCAD 17 on my PC running fine (I use it often to generate cut files for CNC plasma),
Anyway, I went to open it and it just sat there and hung loading, I thought maybe an update would help, so I updated to 17.1 then 17.2 and it still hangs, I did notice that it looks like the thing that is hanging in the Internet pallet, I can see at the bottom of the screen it franticly trying to load something, this seems to just hang the application to the point it will not load.
I tried uninstalling the application and re-installing it, when I did I was able to load TurboCAD just fine, but after I closed the app and tried to re-launch it, I got the same problem, hangs while loading.
So I un-installed it again and re-installed it and it launched it again, and again it launched fine, so I set the internet pallet to load a blank page thinking that would solve the problem, but it did the same thing after I shut the app down and restarted it…
I can’t seem to find any help on this issue, I was hoping that there may be some way to disable the internet pallet all together, but I can’t seem to find out how to.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

HatchMan,
Did you find/correct the problem with TurboCad hanging on loading.
Harold
Nope... I have not solved the problem... I figure I'm gonna have to format the hard drive and reinstall everything again, and hope that fixes the problem...
When you did the uninstall, did you check to make sure that the config file had been removed. I don't think that the uninstall will remove the config of the previous install.
The install creates two folders one in the Program Files and the other in the user documents file. The configl file will be in the user file. In the program files folder it will be listed as ISMI Design. The user file will be listed as user,(your name or user) documents, TurboCad 17 (or your ver. NO.) by defualt the config, backups and drawings are store here. In doing an uninstall the config file needs to be removed and let the install create and new one.
I don't know is this will fix your problem, but worth a try.

Harold,
I didn't try that, when I get home I will give that a try.
It is for sure worth a try!
Thanks for the lead, I will let you know if it worked
Harold...
Nope that didn't do it either... Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's something stupid...
Thanks for try...
I think I will be formating the HDD and reinstalling everything and hope that does it.
HatchMan,
Sorry to hear that it didn't work. I was going to refer you to the TurboCad Fourms, but I see that you had already been there with no help.
Regards
Harold
