    Turbo cad/cam v3 with mach3?

Any one using turbo cad/cam v3 with mach2 or 3? I am thinking of either going this way or maybe the dolphin route? Dolphin has a post prosceser for mach.

    Any thoughts?

    Bob

    Mach3/dolphin

Dolphin's web site seems to be down at the moment. I am using Mach3 ..... or intend to with Partmaster CAD/CAM if I can get the demo version licence expanded for me to trial.

I am using TCC 3 and Mach2, it was recommended to me. I'm new to CNC but it seems to work fine. I understand that Mach3 might still be a bit buggy for a newcomer so possibly you should start with Mach2. An upgrade later, when its fully sorted, to Mach3 is free.

    Regards
    Phil

Mach3 is currently in lockdown mode, with apparently only 3 known bugs, 2 of which are plasma related. http://www.artofcnc.ca/BugReports84.txt

Mach3 has far more features than Mach2, and must be configured from scratch, as the Mach2 .xml file (settings) is different than Mach3's and is not transferrable. So starting with Mach3 is the better choice IMO.
