Tightening up the bachlash on a 325

I now have my 325 operational. I have cut some chips and find that I need to start adjusting. I have 0.004" backlash on the Y axis and 0.0015 on the X. I haven't measured Z yet but thought I'd start with x and Y. Is the adjustment for z similar?
So where do I start? Kind of a general question but is there a good resource to read about the process - ist there one specificsally for the Tree 325?

    Thanks,

    Bill

If you have that kind of backlash and nothing is loose then the balls in the ballscrew or5 the ballscrew is worn. I would check the backlash about every 2 " to determine it if is the ballscrew or the ballscrew. You can buy over size balls on ebay for a decent price.
