replacing wiring

I am interested in a tree mill that is in parts. The owner says most of the parts are there. But some of the wiring parts may be missing. He is asking $500 for it. Is this a good deal? How hard is it to locate the replacement parts? Here is a quote from our communication...
Thanks
-Nick

I would delay gratification and keep looking at that price/condition. If the mill is truly in pieces, its going to be too difficult to inventory to even know what's missing, espeically if its in someone else's shop.

The consumable parts, belts etc are available but replacement hardware is not. What's more, people aren't usually willing to part-out milling machines. Put some want ads on craigslist and keep searching!
