J425 w/Dynapath delta 20
Hey all you Tree gurus. I have a Journeyman 425 that has the dynapath delta 20 on it. Everything seems to run just fine but I can't seem to get the rs232 port running. I plugged in an rs232 tester(in line light up tester) and got the result in the picture as I attempted to load a program. If I unplug the tester from the machine, pin 2 flashes and seems to be transferring data from the computer. Am I hosed when it comes to program transfer?

No, tree had the com port different. Normally you would have pin 2 and 3 crossed, well tree decided to use 2 to 2 and 3 to 3.

Is it normal for it to light up immediately upon connection to the control?

For anyone that was having problems with their rs-232 and no wiring seemed to fix it, I fixed mine by replacing the aux board. I called dynapath and they told me that it was common for the line drivers and receivers get wiped out on the board. Just trying to pay it forward.
