Tree CNC software

Hello,

I need to find some software for my tree cnc mill i just bought. the seller said it was running when he last shut it off but the batteries did not hold a charge so he lost the program for the mill.

i got a great deal $750 but now i have to find the software. i did see video of the mill running which was about 1 mth ago.

i trust the seller since the shop is in the same town i live in.

so is there a speical place i need to look for the software

The control software on a dynapath should be on prom, think the battery only saved the part program. Call zps, bob norman is the guy you want. Parts and smarts was another good one, but I was told Julius there passed away, so not sure where they stand.

A PROM is Programmable Read-Only Memory which doesn't loose it's data when the power is off, so your control software should still be there.

What does the control do when you turn it on? I'm assuming you powered up the machine first, then the control. Exactly what you do and what does/does not happen is helpful to get you up and going. Let us know step by step.
