    just purchased 325

    hello all,
this is my first post here. i just purchased a 325 journeyman with the delta 20 control and have been poking around here looking for more info.
i got the machine, tooling and a 15hp rpc for reasonable price. for the moment i'm waiting for electrician to get me hooked up (hoping that don't break the bank). i currently only have one space in my 200 amp service for a double pole breaker.
so i'm curious if any of you have had to do this and what it took to do it and maybe a heads up for things to look out for??

    thanks in advance

I have a Hurco with a Dynapath 20. I also use a rotary phase converter. When you wire the phase converter to your mill, the first thing you need to do is determine, at the point the power line connects to the control, is which of the 220 3 phase wires there go to a transformer. These wires power the control. You should not connect the third or generated leg from the phase converter to either of those two terminals. Make sure the machine is properly grounded. After that, you should be good to go.
